Facebook සමාගම WhatsApp අත්පත් කරගනියි

බොහෝ දෙනෙක් අතරේ ජනප්‍රිය WhatsApp messenger සේවාව තමන් මිලදීගැනීමට බාලාපොරොත්තු වන බවට Facebook සමාගම මීට මාස කිහිපයකට පෙර අදහස් දැක්වූ නමුත් එම ගනුදෙනුව පිලිබදව වැඩිදුර තොරතුරු අනාවරණය වුනේ නැහැ. නමුත් අද උදෑසන නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කරමින් Facebook සමාගම පවසා සිටියේ එම ගනුදෙනුව සාර්ථකව අවසන් වූ බවයි.
WhatsApp co-founder හා CEO වන “Jan Koum” Facebook අධ්‍යක්ෂක මණ්ඩලයට එක් වී ඇති අතර, පෙර පරිදිම ඔහුගේ WhatsApp කණ්ඩායම මෙහෙයවමින් Facebook සමගින් ඉදිරියට යෑමේ වගකීම පැවරී ඇත්තෙත් ඔහුටමයි. මෙම ගනු දෙනුව සදහා Facebook කොටස් (Class A) 177,760,669 ක් හා ඇමෙරිකන් ඩොලර් බිලියන 4.95 ක මුදලක් Facebook විසින් WhatsApp වෙත ලබාදී තිබෙනවා.
