Microsoft සමාගමෙ ඔෆිස් පැකේජය (ms office) වෙනුවට පාවිච්චි කරන්න පුලුවන් ලොව අනර්ගතන ඔෆිස් පැකේජය තමයි open office කියන්නෙ. දැනට අපේ රටේ  රජයෙ අයතන වල වැඩියෙන්ම පවිච්චි කරන්නෙ ms office උනත් ඉදිරියට ඔපන් සොස් මෘදුකන්ග භාවිත කරන්න ලොකු ඉඩකඩක් තියෙනවා. හෙතුව තමයි ඔරිජිනල් මෘදුකන්ග මිලදි ගන්න ගිහාම යන වියදම කොහොමද කියලා දන්නවනෙ ඔපන් සොස් මෘදුකන්ග නොමිලේ දෙන නිසා වියදමක් නැනෙ එකයි. කොකටත් මෙවටත් පුරුදු වෙලා ඉන්න එක හොදයි නෙ.මෙ Open office මෘදුකාන්ගයෙන් ms office වලට වඩා පසුවෙන් වැඩ කරග්න්නත් පුලුවන්
